(UNDATED) - More than 40,000 Indiana residents were without power this morning and many continue to be as the afternoon approaches.
Many different warnings and watches were issued as a precautionary measure.
The Lawrence County Sherriff's Department says that several roads throughout the county were blocked due to fallen trees.
No serious injuries have been reported at this time in connection to the storms.
As of 10:45AM 23 customers in Brown County were without power, 62 in Greene County, 1 in Jackson County, 5618 in Lawrence County, 2869 in Monroe County and 2 in Orange County.
Heavy winds remain in this afternoon's forecast with winds occasionally exceeding 50MPH.
The Wind advisory will remain in effect until 8:00PM.
