(BLOOMINGTON, IN) - A Bloomington doctor and his assistant are on trial this week for malpractice.
Dr. Larry Ratts and Stanley Rice are accused of failing to provide proper medical care and did not detect a heart attack that killed a 61-year-old man.
Ratts and Rice are also accused of improper handling and prescribing of controlled substances.
In May, the State Attorney General filed a 9-count complaint against Ratts.
