(UNDATED) - A southern Indiana airport has the state’s top crash rate.
An analysis of Indiana aviation crashes finds Monroe County Airport in Bloomington has the state's highest rate.
The airport has had 11 aircraft accidents since 1990, which is a rate of 2.3 crashes per 100,000 flights.
Muncie comes in 2nd at a rate of 1.6, followed by Ft. Wayne's airport at 1.2.
The Monroe County Airport had less than 500,000 takeoffs and landings, compared with more than a million at other airports in the analysis.
