(BLOOMINGTON, IN) - Authorities are once again investigating another suspicious death in Monroe County for the second time in the same month.
Robin Sowders' autopsy on Wednesday revealed that the man suffered multiple skull fractures after someone apparently beat him repeatedly in the head.
51-year-old Sowders was discovered severely battered but not dead on Sunday inside his home.
The man was taken to Bloomington Hospital then flown to Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, where he was pronounced dead.
Nothing was reported stolen from the house or damaged inside.
On October 1st, county police found a woman's body in a cornfield in northern Monroe County.
Crystal Grubb's death remains under investigation as well.
At this time, investigators say that everyone is a suspect.
