(UNDATED) - Most of central and southern Indiana are under a “red flag warning” for fire risk this afternoon.
National Weather Service Meteorologist Joseph Nield says a "fire weather watch" has also been issued for Thursday.
Forecasters say they use three criteria for issuing these types of watches and warning: wind speed, dry conditions and relative humidity.
