Testimony Continues In Infant's Battery Case

(BEDFORD, IN) - Testimony continued Wednesday in Lawrence Circuit Court in a case in which a man is charged with battering his 3-month-old son.

Randy Swartz Jr. is facing a battery charge resulting in the serious bodily injury of someone younger than 14.

According to medical reports, the baby had been battered multiple times, resulting in fractures to his ribs, arms and one of his legs.

If convicted, Swartz would face up to 20 years in prison.
