(UNDATED) - Nearly all of Indiana Tuesday is in a moderate risk area for severe weather with high winds as the main threat.
A wind advisory is posted for all but extreme southern Indiana. Sustained winds of 30MPH are expected during the day with wind gusts in excess of 50MPH also possible.
National Weather Service Meteorologist Mike Ryan says a line of thunderstorms is expected to form along a cold front that will slice through the state.
A tornado watch has additionally been issued for portions of southern Indiana until 11:00AM including Lawrence, Martin, Greene, Monroe and Brown counties.
