(PAOLI, IN) - A total of $14,000 dollars in contributions have been distributed to those who lost their homes in a fire that swept through a section of downtown Paoli on November 13th.
The Orange County Community Foundation led the effort to raise the money for the fire victims, which was divided equally among the 17 people who had lived in the apartments.
Officials with the foundation say that the majority of the money in the beginning came from area churches who had taken up special collections for the cause.
