(BLOOMINGTON, IN) - Thousands of dollars worth of jewelry and a Honda Civic were reported stolen from a Bloomington home.
Police say that the homeowners were out of town at the time of the burglary and said that before they left town on November 5th, all of the doors and windows were closed and locked at their home on East Fifth Street.
When the two arrived home on Monday, they found a door on the south side of the home pried open with the inside of the house "ransacked".
An LG 42-inch flat-screen television valued at $800; seven watches worth about $3,000; 15 necklaces valued at $3,500; and five rings at $2,500 are among some of the items stolen.
Anyone with information is encouraged to call Detective Kevin Hill at the Bloomington Police Department at 339-4477.
