(BEDFORD, IN) - Police believe two women who have been going to homes in Lawrence County claiming their car has over-heated and then stealing from the homes were arrested Tuesday afternoon in Bloomington.
Bedford police were contacted Tuesday morning about a woman who sought help because of car trouble.
Police Chief Dennis Parsley says this is the fourth time in which this woman and another woman have gone to homes seeking help and then using the victim's kindness against them.
37-year-old Julia D. Eagan and 45-year-old Donna J. Phillips were arrested on several charges.
