(UNDATED) - Gas prices have reached nearly $3 dollars a gallon and are expected to go up from there.
Triple A Hoosier Motor Club Spokesman Greg Seiter says the increasing price of crude oil has driven up the cost of gas.
Seiter says another factor is the cold weather that increases the demand for heating oil, which will also drive up the price.
He says with the holidays coming up, demand for gas is higher and prices will likely continue to rise.
Some people we talked to says $3 a gallon isn't that bad, others say it's way too expensive.
But one man put it simply "do you have a choice?"
