(UNDATED) - A big shock for Hoosiers at the gas pump; regular is over three dollars a gallon across the state.
Greg Seiter with Triple-A Hoosier Motor Club says they're "puzzled" over the sudden spike.
Seiter says spikes usually happen after major events, like a hurricane in the gulf.
But, nothing has really happened.
Seiter says regular was $2.53 a year ago at this point.
