(MITCHELL, IN) - Mitchell Mayor Dan Terrell has been elected to serve as President of the Southern Indiana Mayor’s Roundtable for 2011.
The 39 member group meets once a month to discuss issues the cities are facing and legislation that concerns the cities and towns of the southern half of the state.
Mayor Terrell will now begin his one-year term in January.
His duties will include presiding over the monthly meetings and relaying concerns to IACT officials in Indianapolis.
