High School Bans Student From Singing National Anthem

(BLOOMINGTON, IN) - Bloomington High School North has banned a student from singing her version of the National Anthem.

Shai Warfield-Cross was told she can't sing at an upcoming game unless she does it in a more traditional way.

Administrators say there were complaints that the anthem was disrespectful and unrecognizable.
