(NEW ALBANY, IN) - A Floyd County school cafeteria worker is facing criminal charges after authorities say she showed up to school drunk.
Authorities say Carrie Elbert had a blood alcohol level nearly two times the limit.
Elbert allegedly was drinking alcohol during school hours while the children were present.
Elbert reportedly failed 5 sobriety tests by a resource officer.
