(FREETOWN, IN) - Five people were arrested in Brown County when police discovered methamphetamine-making supplies inside a barn.
Officers originally went to the Freetown property Sunday evening to help serve an arrest warrant out of Jackson County, when they found the suspect but also noticed a strong chemical smell coming from a nearby barn.
After getting consent from the property owner, deputies entered the barn and found several items inside used to manufacture methamphetamine.
22-year-old Justice R. Lee, 36-year-old Steven L. Wheeler, 38-year-old Leah D. Wheeler and 21-year-old Bradley J. Edwards were arrested on preliminary charges of manufacturing methamphetamine.
