(UNDATED) - It’s a tradition, the new year’s resolution to lose weight. But it usually doesn’t work.
That's why so many of us make the same resolution every January 1st.
Dietician and Psychologist David Creel with St. Vincent Health says it takes a commitment to control your weight.
He says that requires setting some goals for burning more calories than you consume. That doesn't mean depriving yourself.
If you want a piece of leftover holiday fruitcake, go ahead.
But don't overdo it.
