(SALEM, IN) - An autopsy was performed Saturday at the Kentucky Medical Examiner’s Office in Louisville on the body of nine-month-old Lilly Calvin from Salem.
According to a report from the Indiana State Police Post at Sellersburg, the autopsy was unable to determine a cause of death.
The autopsy will not be complete until the toxicology results return, which typically take up to six weeks.
A death investigation will remain open until the autopsy results are complete and a cause of death has been determined.
The infant was found dead Friday morning.
