Man Suffers Third-Degree Burns In Mobile Home Fire

(HARRODSBURG, IN) - A 26-year-old man sustained third-degree burns following a fire that destroyed a mobile home Saturday.

Chris Arthur suffered burns to his legs and the back of his arms and some burns to his face and hair.

Arthur's girlfriend, Ashley Deckard, and their two children escaped the fire without injury.

Arthur took his son out the front door, while Deckard took the other child out the back.

Without knowing where his girlfriend and other son were, Arthur ran back inside the burning mobile home to find them.

Witnesses at the scene says it took 46 minutes for firefighters to arrive.
