(UNDATED) - Governor Mitch Daniels says the state has done everything possible to prepare for the second wave of this ice storm.
He calls the first round "batting practice" for weather he anticipates could cause major problems throughout the state.
Daniels says the Indiana National Guard has been activated to assist with emergency operations.
His biggest concern remains the potential loss of power as a result of ice and heavy winds bringing down trees and power lines.
