(BLOOMINGTON, IN) - Two aftershocks have sent survivors scrambling for safety in Christchurch, New Zealand’s second largest city, after a powerful earthquake shook the city.
Michael Hamburger, a Professor of Geological Sciences at Indiana University, says this earthquake itself was not a large quake, but it was damaging because it struck in a heavily populated area.
