Man Dies During Ice Storm

(MORGANTOWN, IN) - A Brown County man has died from hypothermia after locking himself out of his home and falling Tuesday night.

93-year-old Thomas V. McGuire died of hypothermia.

Police say that it appears McGuire accidentally locked himself out of his home and could not get back inside during the recent ice storm.

McGuire's daughter says she had taken food to her father at around 5:00PM and returned to check on him at 8:00PM finding him asleep in his bed.

A house key was found lying on the kitchen table.
