(BEDFORD, IN) - More than a year after the murder of his wife, a Bedford man appeared in court Friday to admit to the killing at the couple’s Washington Avenue home.
Lawrence County Prosecutor Michelle Woodward says Larry Michael Caraway's attorney notified her Friday morning that he wanted to plead guilty.
Caraway faces a prison sentence of 45 to 65 years for the murder of 48-year-old Denise Caraway.
Police say she was shot multiple times in the head, chest and lower abdomen.
