(BLOOMFIELD, IN) - A 22-year-old rural Bloomfield woman was arrested on Wednesday for the alleged theft of jewelry and gold coins from her grandmother.
Tabitha Burch is now facing a felony theft charge in connection with the burglary.
Police officials say that Nancy Haddock reported that she noticed some of her jewelry was missing from her safe between November 30th and December 1st.
Haddock later told police that Burch had been staying with her for about two months and during that time she had a roll of $25 gold coins turn up missing.
Police later discovered that Burch has sold some of the missing jewelry at Cash for Gold in Bloomington.
