(SEYMOUR, IN) - A Seymour man was killed Thursday afternoon during an apartment fire.
Autopsy results revealed 51-year-old Ronald J. Ridgley died of smoke inhalation.
Officials say that Ridgley was legally blind and used a walker, hampering the man's chances of escaping.
No other apartments were damaged.
Fire crews say the fire eventually burned itself out.
