(JACKSON COUNTY, IN) - A boil order affecting nearly 10,000 Jackson County residents has been lifted.
Officials with the Jackson County Water Utility Inc. lifted the precautionary boil which had been in place since Wednesday evening.
The water utility is apologizing for any inconvenience the boil order had caused.
The boil order stemmed from the discovery of E. coli in two samples taken from the system on February 17th.
