(UNDATED) - The Drug Enforcement Administration has banned ingredients used to make “spice” for at least a year.
The agency wants to study the substance, which is sold as herbal incense but is often smoked to simulate a Marijuana high.
At least 18 states have banned spice. Several Indiana communities have followed suit.
A statewide ban is currently under consideration.
