(WASHINGTON) - Flood waters from the rain-swollen White River haven’t receded yet, but local officials are working on a temporary fix for the levee breech that occurred last weekend in the Capehart area.
A permanent repair is on the minds of Daviess County officials and local residents.
About eight square miles of farmland in northwestern Daviess County are under water following the levee break.
