(MARTINSVILLE, IN) - A Martinsville man is facing up to eight years in prison after attempting to bribe a police officer to let him go.
32-year-old Bradley S. Alexander has also charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated.
Officers witnessed Alexander slumped over the wheel in a turn lane on Highway 37.
After failing several sobriety tests, Alexander made an attempt to "offer a resolution to the situation he was in," offering to pay $200 to keep officers from taking him to jail.
