Mitchell Woman Blacks Out, Crashes Car

(MITCHELL, IN) - A Mitchell woman was injured in a crash while driving on Highway 60 East Friday morning.

Jana Earl was transported to St. Vincent Dunn Hospital after she reportedly blacked out behind the wheel while experiencing chest pains.

It was later confirmed that she suffered from a broken back in the wreck.

Officers say her vehicle went through the parking lot of the Mitchell Family Restaurant, smashing into a home on Highway 60 East.
