(UNDATED) - As gas prices hover near the $4 a gallon mark and the weather warming, bicycle sales are back up.
Scott Irons with Indy Cycle Specialists says people don't want to shell out hundreds of dollars monthly for transportation, so they opt for a bicycle that is both health and environmentally-conscious.
Irons says a new bicycle will run you between $300-600 dollars.
Irons is also reminding drivers that they're sharing the road and be very aware of bicyclists.
