(ORLEANS, IN) - Flooding continues in Orleans.
Orleans Clerk Treasurer Robert Henderson says that "Orleans Town officials continue to closely monitor the flooding situation in Orleans."
Numerous town streets and roadways on the west and flood prone side of town remain flooded and closed today.
Local residents are being warned to stay out of the flooded areas and not to move or attempt to go around barricaded areas or risk being cited by Orleans Police.
Residents and possible business owners in the affected areas are asked to stay alert to possible rising water in the wake of additional heavy rainfall expected over the next few days.
