(SEYMOUR, IN) - Seymour City Officials have strengthened the city’s smoking ban by prohibiting employees from lighting up in city-owned vehicles.
Rodney Farrow, the city's attorney, presented a resolution to add the amendment to the city's personnel policy.
That policy was enacted in 2006 to regulate smoking in public places and places of employment.
The Indiana General Assembly recently rejected a statewide smoking ban on an 8-1 vote.
