(MARTINSVILLE, IN) - A threat from a special-education student at Martinsville High School led to the arrest of his mother Tuesday.
Police say that 40-year-old Mikki L. Sutton was charged with battery and disorderly conduct.
The 16-year-old boy is said to have threatened to shoot a girl at the high school.
When school administrators had the teen's mother pick him up and told her that her child was going to be suspended for five days over the threat, she became irate and began hitting her son.
