(ORLEANS, IN) - As the flood waters begin to recede in the town of Orleans, officials are now focusing on flood damage clean-up efforts.
A large dumpster has been set up at the Town Garage on Franklin Street for any type of flood debris.
Residents who have flood damage of water in their basements are reminded to report the damage to the Orange County Emergency Management Office at 723-7111.
Parents are asked to not permit children to play in flood waters due to possible health threats.
Officials also say that the Orleans Fire Department will be running fire hydrants through the streets which may result in a slight harmless discoloration of the city's drinking water.
