Fire Department Receives Hundreds Of Phone Calls In Wake Of Storms

(BLOOMINGTON, IN) - The Bloomington Fire Department said more than 300 calls came into their 911 call center Monday as strong storms moved into the city.

The fire chief said the hardest hit area is in a three-block radius just east and south of downtown.

Residents are dealing with trees into homes, blocking sidewalks and crashing into roofs of businesses.

No injuries have been reported.
