(BEDFORD, IN) - A Lawrence County man was arrested Tuesday for dragging his black Labrador retriever down the road by his pickup truck.
60-year-old Jerry R. Lintz was seen holding onto a rope out of his driver side window while driving the truck faster than the dog could keep up with.
A witness at the scene attempted to pull Lintz out of his truck after noticing that the dog's legs were dragging.
When asked if he was trying to kill the dog, he stated 'hell yes.'
Lintz was booked into the Lawrence County Jail.
