(MITCHELL, IN) - Police dogs were brought in to sniff for illegal drugs inside lockers at Mitchell High School on Thursday.
A controlled substance was found in one locker resulting in a student facing disciplinary and criminal charges.
More than 500 lockers were sniffed by police dogs in all.
The school board gave administrators authority to call in police dogs last year when school officials felt it necessary.
