(BLOOMINGTON, IN) - Monroe County authorities are investigating a higher volume of fraud and theft involving phone calls to people in the community.
Police officials say that it appears the focus is on the elderly and those who may live by themselves.
Officers are reminding resident to never give out personal or financial information without contacting your financial institution.
