(SCARSDALE, NY) - Friends and supporters of Lauren Spierer and her family gathered for a vigil in Lauren’s hometown in New York Tuesday night.
A crowd of over 200 people, including Lauren's friend Dani Pines, joined together at a Synagogue in Scarsdale, New York to raise hope in finding Lauren.
Pines says she's been on the street where Lauren was last seen and doesn't understand how someone can go missing because it's so well lit and has a strong police presence.
Rabbi Stephen Klein says it's important for the community to band together to support the Spierer family.
Bloomington Police have removed two computer hard drives from rooms off of the lobby at Smallwood Plaza where Spierer lives.
The hard drives contain security camera footage.
Police said there's no evidence Lauren ever entered her apartment building Friday.
Several celebrities are also becoming involved in the search.
Alyssa Milano, Ryan Seacrest, Blake Shelton and Kourtney Kardashian are among those who have taken to Twitter to spread the word of the search for the 20-year-old.
