(UNDATED) - Local, state, and federal officials are assessing damage in southern Indiana from April and May severe weather.
Teams from the Department of Homeland Security, FEMA, and the U.S. Small Business Administration are focusing their attentions on Gibson, Harrison, Lawrence, Pike, Posey and Vanderburgh counties.
The assessments will help determine the next steps in a federal disaster declaration for assistance.
