Mitchell Man Announces Plans To Run For President

(MITCHELL, IN) - A Mitchell man has announced his intentions to run in 2012 for United States president as an independent candidate.

34-year-old Robert Shawn Terry is currently in the process of collecting the signatures of 33,000 names on a petition in order to file those signatures with the state election office by February 2012.

Terry states, "I am not a Democrat or Republican. I am independent. If you're not happy with your current party, stand with me."

Terry, who dropped out of high school to later receive his GED has worked at Liner Products in Paoli for nearly 4 years and is also trained in CPR.
