(BLOOMINGTON, IN) - A new analysis from Indiana University shows nearly one in 10 registered Indiana nonprofit organizations lost their tax-exempt status last month.
The report also determined that while many of the nonprofits were no longer operating, a good number appeared to be in existence.
Cemeteries, social welfare organizations and nonprofit business associations suffered the highest rate of revocation.
