(BEDFORD) - Three armed men forced their way into a home in the 1100 block of Ninth Street this morning according to the Beford Police Department.
Just after 5am this morning a resident heard a knock on the door, when the man opened the door, three men forced there way inside, stole a wallet then fled on foot.
The men are described as two white men and one black man, with one of the white men being about 6 feet tall and wearing a blue or black bandanna. The other white male was considerably shorter.
Police are continuing their investigation.
Bedford Police Department is also investigating a report that eight guns were stolen from a home on 24th Street.
The home was left unlocked and the guns were accessible because the owner was going shooting, the robbery is believed to have happened between 7:30pm Tuesday and 3pm Wednesday.
Bedford Police say there is no indication the guns stolen were used in the home invasion this morning.
