(BEDFORD) - A two vehicle accident on State Road 37 injured two people Sunday afternoon.
The crash occurred at the intersection with Washboard Road when 19 year old Brandon Bay of Springville was in the median attempting to cross the south bound lanes of SR 37.
According to Lawrence County Police reports Bay thought he had enough time to cross, but pulled into the path of Kristy Rhea of Indianapolis.
Rhea struck Bay's car in the passenger side door, and both vehicles came to a rest in the median south of the intersection.
Bay complained of neck pain, Rhea complained of pain to her back, both were transported to a local hospital.
