(UNDATED) - Construction work will soon start on SR 37 between Mitchell and Paoli.
The route will be transformed into a "modified super two" highway with a long term plan to improve traffic flow between Lawrence County and Interstate 64.
Good news for travelers, delays shouldn't be too numerous throughout the time of the project which is scheduled to wrap up in November of 2013.
The modified super two route will make travel lanes 12 feet in width, and shoulders will be a maximum of 10 feet in width.
