(WASHINGTON) - Over 100 members of Daviess County’s Amish population heard detailed plans Monday on slightly changing the layout of a main roadway through their community which also serves as a major county thoroughfare.
Buggy lanes are being added to a section of the road heavily traveled by both vehicle and horse and buggies.
The improvements are being paid for mostly by federal dollars administered and approved by the Indiana Department of Transportation.
