(MITCHELL) - The Mitchell Police Department may have another weapon available to them soon, if the cost to buy them and train officers isn’t too great.
The Mitchell Police Department is looking into equipping officers with tasers.
Police chief Jerry Presnel is going to look into the cost of training officers and the price of equipping the force with the new tasers and report back at the next Mitchell Council meeting scheduled for September 6th.
