(MARTINSVILLE) - Convicted school shooter Michael Phelps faces new charges for allegedly sending threatening messages from jail.
Prosecutors say Phelps wrote to friends while he was behind bars awaiting trial for trying to kill former classmate Chance Jackson.
Phelps was convicted of attempted murder for shooting Jackson and sentenced to 35 years in prison. He is now charged with intimidation and obstruction of justice.
