Police Looking For Man After Attempted Abduction

(JACKSON COUNTY) - Police in Jackson County are looking for a man they say tried to abduct a young girl.

Carolyn Bowman said she was leaving her home with her five-year-old daughter.

As her daughter walked down to the driveway to get into the family van, Bowman went back inside the home and that's when a man grabbed her daughter.

The man dropped the girl on the road and ran into the woods after the mother came back outside.

The man is described as having little to no hair and a brown mustache, he was last seen wearing a yellow shirt and tan shorts.
